I view my life as 'a design' which includes: my relationships, my experiences and the art I create.

Depending upon the type of design work I am focusing on, I may be involved with: images, words, colors, papers, patterns, textures, even people and/or natural materials or other digitalized elements which I synthesize into new creations.
  • Paper arts, including book & journal making, are a major focus of my personal artwork in which I have been able to develop my collage and mixed media skills.
  • Learning new ideas & skills, in the virtual and real-time classrooms, tug at my creativity, tickle my inspiration and whisper to my soul.
  • Browse through my children's book proposal The Tooth Fairy Journal: The story behind your fallen teeth. Creating traditions and memories from everyday experiences.
  • My personal love of silver, leads me to 'play' with combining natural materials and metal to create gems & jewels.
  • Living in China has taught me to be flexible and ready for change. I maintain design studios in Beijing and the United States.
  • I enjoy working in the digital realm manipulating imagery & words.
  • I continue to hone my Mandarin language skills.
